Tue, May 17, 2011 at 10:45 AM Perhaps it's time for SoFA (The Society of Feline Artists) to consider promoting cats as artists rather than the subject of artists. Hiccup, the developer behind the successful Game for Cats, is pushing back the bounderies of art with their new Paint for Cats iPad app.
A cool $100,000 gets you one of the very first paintings produced with the app! Something tells us that they just might have trouble selling this particular 'masterpiece'.
We'll let the feline iPad Creative staff members have a play with Paint for Cats later today. Follow us on Twitter for the results.

Clever idea but the overlay of the finished image that kept fading in and out was really irritating and headache inducing. And are iPad screens paw-proof? I'd hate to see scratches on the screen after that.
By the way, did you guys get my email re website comments?
Yes, we got your email. We'll be looking into it this weekend. Thanks for the heads-up, much appreciated.
This is awesome, cute clip, i love the way the art shows in the clip. Hopefully my cats can be as great ! I bought the app a few days ago my cat loves it. There are no scratch's on the iPad at all you can just hear the tapping. I bought the other cat game but they didn't care for it as much.

Yes, do you know if the ipad screen is scratch proof? I have enough problems with my cat scratching my leather couch to let him ruin another expensive item in my home!
Rum: The glass on the iPad display is extremely strong, much too tough to be harmed by the claw of a regular household cat. ^_^
