Who Would Have Thought a DIY iPad Stylus Would Be So Cool?

We just found this video on YouTube by artist and iPad user kobausks. He has made his own stylus out of a felt tip pen and tape, creative and economical!

But it is the results he gets from it that are impressive, he demonstrates using it with a range of Art apps on his iPad and even using one of our favourite apps Splashtop Remote to control Art apps on his Mac.

It is definitely worth watching the whole video, English titles are included but it might be better to watch in HD to see them better, or are we just getting old?

Not bad at all. I might have to try to make one of those.

That said, I got the Nomad Brush in the mail the other day, and I'm VERY happy with it. I haven't had much time to really play around with it, but I showed it to a friend who has said from the time it launched that he doesn't have any need for an iPad. Now he's considering getting one.

Hey Collin, thanks for commenting and for letting us know you got the Nomad Brush ok, we love that it can make someone want to buy an iPad.

I followed instructions from one of the earlier video by Kobausks and it works like a charm. I like it because it can work with any pen and takes about 2 minutes to create. Try it.

Be sure to find a good material. A candy bar wrapper will work but I found a more transparent material used in dollar store freezer bags (silver looking but transparent when backlit).

Hi Raccuia - we may just try this one then, thanks!
