Isle of Tune: The award winning music creation website coming soon to the iPad

I remember being sat in those long double music lessons at school, the afternoons would drag as the dispassionate music teacher would drone on about the history of musical notation. All I really wanted to do was make some glorious tunes, but only those that showed musical aptitude were allowed anywhere near the costly instruments. The triangle was all I got to play with and trying to recreate the Star Wars main theme with just a triangle was more than a little tricky. If only Isle of Tune had in around in my day...

Isle of Tune is 'playful, creative music sequencer that uses street layouts, roadside objects and cars to create tunes.' It's an enhanced version of the award winning music creation website.

'The iOS version brings a whole host of new features that users have requested over the last couple of months: more cars, new instruments, the ability to speed and pause cars etc.  All currently created islands from the online version will also be accessible through the app meaning users can browse a huge library of content instantly.'

We can't wait to have a play will Isle of Tune, there's something quite special about the way it blends the toy car metaphor with simple music creation that leaves us feeling all warm and cosy.
