What would you pay for this?

Some iPad accessory ideas, although Creative, are just plain weird. We have to say that the PADX-1 LEDGE Wearcom pullover sits squarely in that category.

We are struggling to think of a situation where you would not be seen as entirely freakish when using this wearable iPad-cosseting pullover. Even Ben from Alpyhn Industries has trouble in this video thinking of more than a few situations where you might use this kangaroo flap.

The pullover itself incorporates some very hi-tech materials and design to distribute weight and protect your iPad, but we would be seriously concerned wearing this on the Underground or even down a packed City street with the bumping and jostling that goes on.

What do you think? Is this kind of creative, wearable tech viable? Can you think of any situation where you could wear this and not get weird looks? And is it worth $285? We would love to hear your comments.

Not only would you look a, freakish as you politely phrased it but the position of the iPad appears to be far to awkward to get full usage. I can't think of a single situation where anyone would use that over a normal carry case. And the other issue is the cost, you could buy yourself a designer jacket and a decent iPad case/bag and look 'the bees knees' instead of 'freak of the week'.
