By overlaying a frame, 2D or 3D, it's possible to create a faux three dimensional effect know as 'out of bounds'. OutColor for iPad by Tony Smith uses the power of the iPad touch interface to make creating OOB imagery dead easy. OutColor gives you control over the frame position, shadow location/angle and background properties. You also get plenty of masking options to keep things nice and easy. We created the image above in a little under 5 minutes.
OutColor is intuitive and cheap - yet another tool for your iPad creative toolbox!

Wow! Awesome Application. This blog is just full of sweet stuff. We're a family business who designs skins for apple products and we love when people come up with cool new ways to be creative with their stuff. We're always looking for ways to make newer and better art.
Check out our website for some creative things to do with the outside of your ipad. Have it fit your style!
