iPad sat-nav for your right brain hemisphere?

If you are a 'right brained' kind of person there is a good chance that you find current sat-nav applications frustrating and often counter intuitive. To be fair, this frustration isn't just limited to sat-nav software it seems to be woven into the very fabric of computing, but that's another story for a different day…

What iPad user really want from their sat-nav is something a little more organic, more flexible. Enter Newscape Technology with their Mobile City 3D application. As you can see for yourself in the video featured above it's the stuff that dreams are made of.

We can't wait to see this kind of technology fused with satellite data and navigation instructions. It's hard to believe that we have come from d-pad driven phones with their tiny displays to this in less than 8 years. Amazing times indeed.
