Fri, December 24, 2010 at 7:10 PM One of the things we are going to do whilst we are off-work over the holidays is catch up with apps like Amplitube 2.0 for iPad from IK Multimedia. We will let you know what we think as soon as we can and give you some comparisons with the latest version of AmpKit (1.1) from Agile Partners.
Until then though, we hope this video from IK Multimedia themselves piques your interest. As always, the UI is beautiful, but we have to try the audio copy/paste features for ourselves before we can comment on how great a feature it is.
Looks promising though. What do you think?

Wauv!
That looks very impressive...
Looks like a lot of options in the recorder. I bought almost every pedal and amp simulator in AmpKit+, not cheap, but it looks like I have to find the money to do something similar with this app.
I look forward to your comparisons here on IpadCreative.
Hi Jan - it is getting expensive buying all the extras in these apps, we will take that into consideration, but it is also really exciting what features they can cram into the iPad as we are sure you'll agree! :-)
Yeah, I don't regret spending the cash on AmpKit, and don't expect to regret buying into AmpliTube either, both are great value for money I believe. :-)
