Sat, October 23, 2010 at 10:14 AM Kyle Lambert has created an impressive gallery of iPad paintings over the last few months, many of which we have featured on these pages. In this video tutorial Kyle demonstrates how he paints cartoon characters, namely Buzz Lightyear from Pixar's Toy Story series. Though the tutorial has been made using a Mac, much of the skills on display are transferable to iPad painting.

Buzz Lightyear is my cousin's favorite Toy Story Character. I know she'll love to see this.
If at all possible, always draw from life and not photographs. When drawing, less is sometimes better. Do not attempt to draw every line and detail that you see or you will give your viewer too much information to absorb.
